In addition to being a registered ADR/MfN registered mediator, Joost is also a certified LIVP confidential advisor.
What does a confidential adviser do?
Hassle in the workplace, such as tensions, nasty comments, bullying, unfair treatment, then you can go to me as a confidential advisor to discuss it so that we can see together what can be done about it. I listen, think along with you and help you find clarity and direction.
When do you engage a confidential adviser – and when not?
That is sometimes difficult to determine. “Would it be bad enough…” So just contact me.
Together we find out what is going on and what is there to help you further. Things like workload or salary are usually not part of my role.
What makes a confidential adviser important
Small things can feel big if you keep walking around with them. By talking on time, you can often prevent it from escalating. Just sharing your story can often be a relief – and sometimes that’s enough to move on.
How do you make people feel comfortable?
Just like with my mediations, I listen without judgment and really take the time for you. Everything is allowed, nothing is strange because we talk in confidence. Nothing will be shared without your permission. What is going on, what do you need and that in a safe warm atmosphere of the conversation.
How do you guarantee confidentiality?
It goes without saying that I am bound by the rules of conduct of my profession, both that of mediator and that of confidential advisor.
Everything you share with me stays between us. I don’t share anything with your employer or colleagues. You can approach me directly without your employer knowing. My priority is always your privacy and the confidentiality of our conversation. I am a member of the professional association and work according to clear rules about confidentiality.
She was most proud of the fact that she had taken control herself. Although it still takes some getting used to with some colleagues, she now dares to set her boundaries and is more confident.
Where can people go for more information or contact
You can find more information on my website https://hanssenmediation.nl. And of course you can also call, Whatsapp or email me directly and don’t wait too long, don’t keep walking around with it. You will experience that once you have shared it with me, a burden will already fall off your shoulders.
